Job Description

An International Automation Distribution Company located near Universal City, TX is urgently searching for a PLC Technician .

Responsibilities of PLC Technician - Automation Systems Integrator

• Works autonomously while designing PLC, HMI, robotic, servo and other controls systems
• Assists with diagnosing complex electrical circuits and be a resource to customers and engineers
• Works with leads, supervisors, and technicians to coordinate machine modifications and/or electrical repairs and additions
• Plans, lays out and installs complex circuits and distribution equipment in accordance with all applicable codes
• May fabricate and install electrical systems on production equipment while working from drawings and schematics
• Provides documentation and electrical drawings for new projects as well as existing equipment
• Controls electrical blueprints and assures all prints and programs are up to date
• Maintains and upgrades the computer floor terminals
• Performs other duties are assigned as needed

Responsibilities of PLC Technician - Automation Systems:

• Associated Degree with Mechatronics, electrical engineering and/or related industries
• At least 1 years' experience as PLC technician
• Knowledge of PLC software (Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi)
• Good communication skills (Speaking/Writing/Reading)
• Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
• Is able to travel up to 10%
• While performing the duties of this job, you may be required to type for extended periods throughout the day and intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision, as well as, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
