Job Description & RequirementsRadius Rule: 50 miles\n\nCannot have worked FT/PT/PRN or perm at any CommonSpirit / CHI / Dignity facility in the past 12 months\n\nUnit: Acuity-adaptable MCU (ICU/PCU/MST in one unit; no inter-unit floating)\n\nBeds: 10\n\nRatios: ICU 1:2 | PCU 1:4 | MST 1:5–6 (1:3 primary care if no NA)\n\nExperience:\n\n2+ years ICU required\n\nMay accept 1 yr ICU + 1 yr PCU/Med-Surg (large facility & strong skills)\n\nCertifications: BLS, ACLS\n\nSkills: Titration of sedation, vasopressors, insulin; 12-lead EKGs; cardiac monitoring\n\nPatient Mix:\n\nICU: Sepsis, COPD, respiratory failure, DKA, COVID, withdrawals, post-op complications\n\nPCU: Non-titrated infusions for HR/BP support\n\nSupport: RT available (vents, BiPAP, CPAP); Remote monitor techs for PCU/MST; RNs read strips\n\nSchedule: 12-hr shifts 07:00–19:30 / 19:00–07:30\n\nWeekends: Every other (Days: Sat/Sun | Nights: Fri/Sat)\n\nHolidays: Rotational\n\nStandby: Possible during low census\n\nFloating:\n\nAdult MST in ED & Peds unit\n\nWest Campus (Prescott) ICU/PCU; med-surg 1:5 if assigned\n\n2-hour notice before floating\n\nScrubs: Any color except camouflage\n\nOrientation: Hospital + unit-specific
