You don't need to be an artist for this role but you must truly get a kick out of making a mess while doing your best and believe kids should get messy too!We have openings for enthusiastic people to help us spread our passion for art education. Kidcreate Studio Wilmington is a mobile art studio, so we bring our art classes to schools, daycares, scout troops and other organizations within a 20 mile radius of Wilmington. Candidates in Andover, Bedford, North Andover, Reading, Lynnfield, and Wilmington are preferred.This part-time art teacher's assistant position is the perfect job for high school students, college students, daycare providers, and caregivers looking to work 5-10 hours each week. QUALIFICATIONS:You must be 16 years of age or older.You must have access to a vehicle, as classes take place in a variety of locations.You must be willing to drive to different locations to assist with art education classes (generally within a 15-20 mile radius of Wilmington, MA).You must be available a few days Monday through Friday and some weekends. We have classes between 10-2 pm and 2:30-7 pm.You must be comfortable working with kids ages 18-months to 12 years. You must be able to help manage students during art classes and camps.You must be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, creative, and love working with kids.You must be willing to take a state background and CORI check.WHAT WE PROVIDEA fun, creative environment filled with giggles and grins.An exciting environment with locations that can change daily.Our staff is paid for class prep time, class time, clean-up time and mileage. A flexible work schedule with shorter shifts to accommodate for busy schedules.Discount on classes, Summer programs, and parties for family members.All lesson plans and art supplies are provided.Uniform provided.401(k) plan offered.Paid training as we prepare you for the best job ever!
