AHS Staffing is seeking a travel Dialysis Technician for a travel job in Sioux City, Iowa.

Description:
Provide direct, hands-on care to assigned dialysis patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with pre- and post-dialysis assessments, monitoring and documenting treatment parameters, and reporting patient condition changes. Respond to emergencies, assist in operational procedures, and perform basic CPR when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care during dialysis treatment
• Document treatment parameters accurately on dialysis flow sheets
• Assist licensed nurse with patient assessments and documentation
• Monitor patient condition and report significant changes
• Respond to dialysis-related emergencies and initiate CPR if needed
• Follow all safety and emergency procedures

Education & Training Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Training in physical sciences or laboratory techniques preferred
• Completion of hemodialysis training course required (can be completed after hire)
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

Experience:

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or similar setting preferred, but not required

AHS Job ID #2289600. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
