JOB SUMMARY:

Under HR leadership, Total Rewards Programs Consultant works with key stakeholders to support the organization’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, recognition, leave of absence, and HR programs as the COE and to optimize reward programs that attract and retain talent and drive employee engagement, satisfaction, and performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform analysis of programs to put forth recommendations to support decision-making and aimed at attracting and retaining talent.
  • Analyze, document, and administer compensation, benefits, leave of absence, and HR programs.
  • Maintain salary structures, ensuring equity and alignment with program goals. Regularly review and make recommendations for updates to these structures to accommodate market conditions.
  • Leverage external market trends and insights into recommendations that support the business, including base pay, merit/salary treatment, bonuses, and other compensation and incentive plans.
  • Communicate compensation and benefits policies and programs to employees. Provide training to ensure clear understanding of compensations practices and benefits and other programs.
  • Evaluate job roles to determine appropriate job classifications, titles, and salary ranges. Collaborate with partners to create accurate and updated job descriptions benchmarking as requested.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and integrity within the HRIS related to compensation, benefits, time away, and programs through various means including audit.
  • Maintain compliance related to existing benefits programs including but not limited to group medical/dental/vision insurance, Life & AD&D, HSA, COBRA, FSA, 401(k), leave of absence (time away), benefits compliance standards, and legislative requirements.
  • Answer and resolve employee benefits questions and liaise with the benefits partners on benefits issues.
  • Collaborate with team members on annual open enrollment process ensuring an exceptional employee experience through execution excellence.
  • Maintain recognition, HR and time away programs ensuring completion of applications, forms, etc. working with vendors to coordinate programs and benefits. Make recommendations for improvement to promote a culture of appreciation and engagement.
  • Manage other HR programs and incentive initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, finance or related or equivalent work experience .
  • Minimum 3 years progressive compensation, benefits, and total rewards experience with in-depth knowledge in job evaluation and market analysis working with multiple geographies and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
  • Strong analytical skill set, attention to detail, and organizational skills a must with the ability to effectively and efficiently problem solve building positive relationships.
  • High proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Suites, HRIS – Paylocity, Workday.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Knowledge of ACA, COBRA, EEO, ERISA, HIPPA, FLSA, FMLA, GINA to ensure that Company practices are aligned with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws, compliance, and industry standards.
  • Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional designation, or SHRM strongly preferred.

Compensation : $70,000 - $85,000 base

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
