Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.Skills and attributes for success:Create custom projects in Atlassian tool suite for complex workflows to meet business needsProvide advanced configuration of the Atlassian suite of tools to promote CI/CDCreate and maintain Jira and Confluence collaboration sites (e.g., Kanban boards, Scrum boards, documentation pages, etc.)Analyze, research, manage, and implement integrated Atlassian tools, plugins, and applicationsInterface with various diverse stakeholders as a liaison and trusted advisorHelp define how information systems may be upgraded or replacedGather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimizeQualifications:7 years’ experience in systems analysis and design of information systems programs3 years’ experience with Jira and Confluence administration3+ years’ experience of Bamboo and Bitbucket experienceAn advanced degree in an appropriate field with an additional three years of relevant experienceKnowledge of Agile and principles and applied best practices requiredExcellent communications skills, both written and verbal, are requiredMust successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security Clearance (moderate risk public trust)Atlassian certified Jira Administrator preferredWorking knowledge of Networking, DNS, Databases, APIs, SAML, and AkamaiConsulting in a Federal agency, especially within DHSAbility to write custom JQL (Jira Query Language), a plusExperience with Federal Systems Engineering Life Cycles (SELC) and Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC)Ideally, you will also have:Experience with Government software development policies and proceduresClient-facing communication experienceFederal Agency issued security clearanceOur commitment:Contact Government Services (CGS) strives to simplify and enhance government bureaucracy through the optimization of human, technical, and financial resources.
