Revenue & Receipts Manager – National General Contractor | Atlanta, GA

$120,000 – $165,000 Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

Onsite | Atlanta, Georgia

We are partnered with a leading national general contractor headquartered in Atlanta, currently seeking an experienced Revenue & Receipts Manager to join their high-performing finance team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing invoicing, collections, and revenue functions, critical to the ongoing success of the business.

About the Role:

As the Revenue & Receipts Manager, you’ll lead a team of 6–8 professionals and be the go-to expert in all matters relating to construction receivables, pay apps, lien waivers, and paid-when-paid contract structures. This role requires someone with deep construction industry experience, who is hands-on with both day-to-day execution and long-term process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of invoicing and collections across multiple active construction projects
  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of revenue analysts and accounts staff (player-coach model)
  • Ensure accurate and timely pay application submissions to clients and owners
  • Oversee and enforce lien waiver tracking, compliance, and release processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to track cost codes across multiple trades
  • Interface with Accounts Payable/Receivable (AP/AR) systems and teams to streamline cash flow
  • Monitor “paid-when-paid” processes and work closely with legal and contracts departments as needed
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in revenue management

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven background in construction accounting or finance, ideally with a GC or subcontractor
  • Strong working knowledge of cost coding, especially across a variety of trades
  • Deep experience with construction pay apps, lien waivers, and contract billing terms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow high-performing teams
  • A hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves while managing strategically
  • Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of compliance and financial accuracy
  • Familiarity with systems such as Viewpoint, CMiC, or similar ERP tools is a plus
