Proofreader

Description:

Proofread, edit, and quality check Microsoft Word document transcripts for accuracy. Accurately transcribe Spanish language audio and video recordings. Ensure transcripts meet quality standards and adhere to formatting guidelines.
Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks. Maintain open communication with team members regarding project details.

Requirements:

Spanish speaking proofreader. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently without limitations or assistance.
Proven experience in proofreading and editing Spanish language content.
Attention to detail and a good understanding of grammar and punctuation rules.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
Mastery of English and Spanish languages, including both punctuation and grammar rules.
A self-motivated, proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
Ability to work independently.
Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home.
Associate degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Must be able to provide a minimum of 20 hours of availability (including one weekend shift), Wednesday through Sunday between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm EST (4 hour shifts).
Bilingual English and Spanish required.
