Job Description:

Private business owner in Harbor Springs, MI is seeking an experienced household professional to support his busy schedule. The role will cover a wide variety of tasks, including light housekeeping, calendar management/scheduling, errands and other tasks. Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity and be open to handling all of the required responsibilities as follows. Looking to hire ASAP!

Responsibilities:

• Household Management.
• Microsoft Application, Household Manuals, and Calendar Management, etc.
• Updating other house-related documentation, paperwork, and record-keeping.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise housekeeping and maintenance personnel when needed.
• Maintain household inventories and order supplies as needed.
• Pay bills.
• Ensure the residence is well-maintained, organized, and running smoothly.
• Run personal errands, manage deliveries, and help with daily tasks.

Personal Assistance:

• Provide day-to-day support to the principal, acting as a gatekeeper and problem solver.
• Assist with airline reservations, appointments, scheduling, calendar management, and various tasks related to home office organization.
• Offer general lifestyle and logistical support with a strong emphasis on anticipating needs (Other projects as they arise).
• Meal Preparation as needed.
• Grocery and market/retail shopping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• Doing dishes and table setting.
• Pantry organization and restocking.

Housekeeping:

• Provide minor housekeeping tasks 2x weekly when the housekeeper is not present.
• Straighten bed linens and fluff pillows, flip the mattress topper, take items from the laundry hampers to the laundry room, and empty trash.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Must have flexibility in schedule to work including weekends when needed.
• Willingness to chauffer and travel with separate rooms.
• Must have at least 3+ years of private household experience working in a similar capacity.
• Candidates with luxury hospitality experience are strongly preferred.
• Knowledgeable of FAA, APA, PADI, and various state licenses is essential (for his hobbies).
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to pass an in-depth drug and background check and provide excellent references.
• Must be comfortable with large dogs (2) and tortoises.

Location:

Fully in-person in Harbor Springs, MI with a Thursday through Monday schedule. Flexibility as needed.
