Job Description

The Marketing Assistant provides administrative and marketing support across internal departments and external partners. This role plays a key part in preparing marketing content, coordinating timelines and deliverables, and maintaining organized digital assets. Additionally, the position offers administrative support to executive-level leadership on cross-functional projects.

Success in this role requires clear and professional communication, strong task follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A foundational understanding of marketing principles is helpful for supporting content development, promotional calendars, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support & Communication

  • Collaborate with external partners and internal creative teams to coordinate deadlines, assets, and feedback

  • Maintain organized file structures for marketing materials and creative assets

  • Attend marketing meetings, track follow-up tasks, and assist in campaign execution

  • Proofread and review marketing content for brand alignment and accuracy

Event Marketing

  • Gather assets, define promotional schedules, and manage deadlines for event-based marketing campaigns

  • Assist in preparing event brochures, landing pages, and promotional materials using established templates

  • Coordinate marketing priorities between event partners and internal teams to meet deadlines

  • Monitor effectiveness of marketing efforts and suggest areas for improvement

  • Use event dashboards to collect assets, distribute materials, and track marketing touchpoints

Website Support

  • Collaborate with the creative team to build and update event landing pages and related web content

Branded Merchandise & Online Store

  • Oversee inventory and product selection for branded apparel and promotional products

  • Coordinate new product designs and ordering processes

  • Review vendor invoices and facilitate payment processing

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike, Basecamp, Workfront)

  • Experience working in both PC and Mac environments preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
