Job Title: GIS Analyst
Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor. You will not be considered an employee of the company. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and insurance. No benefits, no equipment provided, no tax withholding, or unemployment insurance is provided.
The initial contract will be for 6 months 10-20 hours per week with the potential for the contract to be extended.
Location: Falls Church, VA. Remote within the Continental US but strong preference will be given to contractors located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Position Summary: Tesla Government Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Web GIS Developer to help us administer, troubleshoot, deploy, and organize web applications and GIS solutions in a custom software environment. Our GIS team consists of individuals who are talented at finding solutions to unique problems, who can work independently as well as in a team, who are skilled in multiple areas of geography, cartography, and automation, and who enjoy tackling different challenges every day. We are looking for an adaptive, fast-learning, multifaceted, and enthusiastic individual who can bring their skills and dedication to round out and expand this team.
