Overview Colegio Jorge Washington (COJOWA) is seeking an experienced and visionary Elementary Principal to lead our elementary division (Grades 1–5). The ideal candidate will foster excellence in teaching and learning, support student growth, and strengthen partnerships with families. This leader will collaborate with faculty and administrators to drive continuous improvement in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and school culture. Qualifications Graduate degree in a relevant field Principal’s training supported by a national or internationally recognized certification system Minimum of 8 years teaching experience, with at least 3 in an administrative role (e.g., Principal, Vice Principal, Department Head) Previous international school experience (experience in Latin America preferred) Strong knowledge and experience in technology integration within school programs Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and written communication skills Deep understanding of elementary-aged students and their diverse needs Experience with standards-based instruction, assessment, grading, and reporting Familiarity with Project-Based Learning (PBL), Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Service Learning Experience with Cognia school accreditation (self-study leadership and/or visiting team member) #J-18808-Ljbffr Cojowa
