Role overview: Director of continuous improvement

Reporting to the USA-based President, the Director of Continuous Improvement leads strategic initiatives to reduce lead times, enhance quality, and maximize ROI across the company. This role focuses on developing high-performing teams that translate strategy into execution.

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who leads by example—someone who drives and inspires measurable improvements through active demonstration, coaching, and collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Separate process from people to foster respectful, outcome-focused problem solving
  • Embed continuous improvement tools and systems into daily operations
  • Capture and digitize tribal knowledge through standardized SOPs and workflow systems
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic improvement initiatives

Required experience & qualifications

  • Lean certification (Shingo, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
  • 5–10 years of experience driving operational improvements across industries
  • Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
