Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management Support:

  • Assist in the comprehensive management of construction projects, ensuring successful execution within established timelines and budget constraints.
  • Support on-site coordination, managing resources, subcontractors, and ensuring project milestones are met.

Quality Control and Safety:

  • Contribute to regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation and enforcement of job site safety protocols, fostering a culture of safety among project teams.

Scheduling:

  • Collaborate in the development and management of project schedules, coordinating tasks and resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Support monitoring and adjustment of schedules as needed to address unforeseen challenges or changes in project scope.

Blueprint Reading and Code Compliance:

  • Support the ability to interpret and analyze construction blueprints.
  • Contribute to the understanding of commercial construction codes and regulations.

Customer Interaction:

  • Assist as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing regular project updates.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and ensure project outcomes align with expectations.

Procore Expertise:

  • Work with the project team to utilize Procore project management software for streamlined communication, document control, and project tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints.
  • Knowledgeable in commercial construction codes and regulations.
  • Experience within retail, restaurant, medical, and/or office construction is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Procore project management software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
