Job Description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Apps Dev Group Manager for its Irving, Texas location. Duties: Lead IT projects to design and implement Citi’s application development framework. Manage projects for software development and delivery with Agile methodology. Contribute to continual improvement of software architecture, software development process and new technologies. Algorithm analysis and design. Design, develop, and implement real time streaming solutions to meet business stakeholder’s requirements using Object oriented programming with Java/J2EE. Use web technologies including Angular, Spring boot and REST API. Contribute to determining resourcing, budgeting and planning while monitoring end results. Responsible for system analysis, design, coding, Unit Testing using UNIX and LINUX shell scripting, daemon writing and kernel programming. Perform data validations and provide real-time analytics support for the Real-time Triggers platform by extracting data and conducting data driven industry leading analytics, using best-in-class analytical tools, software and techniques such as stream processing, machine learning, and unstructured data mining. Entity-Relationship model database design and data management using SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures. Performance improvement and memory optimization in Linked List, Arrays, Set, Map, Stack and Queue data structures. Cloud enabled Microservices architecture. Use Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems. Support testing and debugging efforts. Support Acceptance Test-Driven Development approach. Use Java Financial and Cross Channel platforms and authentication/authorization components Customer Credential Store and Multi Factor Authentication. Integrate development framework with backend systems Transaction Processing System, International Bankcards System and Alert systems. Advise on technology design standards. Design and develop cloud native banking enterprise technology with scalable, reusable and sharable capabilities. Prepare design charter for shared foundational platform services. Ensure quality, performance, scalability and reliability of the shared foundational platform services. Collaborate to support adoption of shared platform services. Create and maintain product roadmaps and regional consumption roadmaps. Communicate with stakeholders. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree (3 or 4-year) or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Technology Management, Info Technology, Data Science or related field and 8 years of experience as Application Development Technical Lead Analyst, Architecture Manager, Senior Application Consultant, Senior Software Engineer, Senior Analyst–Apps Programmer, Team Leader–Software Development or related position involving project management, application development framework design and implementation in the global financial services industry. 8 years of experience must include: Object oriented programming using Java and J2EE; Algorithm analysis and design; Angular, Spring boot and REST API web technologies; Linux, Windows & Mac operating systems; Systems design and specifications with UNIX and LINUX shell scripting, daemon writing and kernel programming; Entity-Relationship model database design and data management using SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures; Performance improvement and memory optimization in Linked List, Arrays, Set, Map, Stack and Queue data structures; Cloud enabled Microservices architecture; Project management activities.
