Job Description Permanent, Direct Hire, Full-Time Position We are seeking a talented professional to join the Wealth, Brokerage and Retirement (WBR) Financial Controls Team. This role supports data integrity and processes impacting SEC and regulatory reporting within WBR. The candidate will participate in maintaining internal controls over the financial reporting environment, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Key responsibilities include evaluating, recommending, and communicating practices around financial controls to ensure accurate general ledger activity, supporting Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities, and acting as an internal accounting consultant to support business goals. The role involves close collaboration with the WBR Group Controller teams and other finance partners to identify best practices in financial control activities. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: 4+ years of accounting experience BA/BS in Accounting or related field Additional Qualifications: Ability to evaluate processes, identify exposures, and assess controls Effective cross-organizational communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter with project management skills and the ability to prioritize Enjoy working in a fast-paced, multitasking environment Team-oriented attitude Preferred Skills: Professional designation such as CPA, CIA, or MBA This position is also open in San Francisco, CA, and Charlotte, NC.
