Under general direction of the Waste & Recycling Education and Permit Crew Lead or Program Manager, incumbent spends half their time in the field supporting enforcement of City solid waste and recycling ordinances. The other half of the position assists in the creation, coordination, and delivery of educational and outreach initiatives related to waste and recycling in the Salt Lake City community. This is a highly dynamic, demanding position with high public contact requiring creativity, versatility and exceptional customer service while maintaining high customer satisfaction levels in stressful situations. This is a part-time position that works up to 129 hours a month and is not benefitted.
