smartdept. inc. is searching for a Video Editor for a nonprofit healthcare client located in Maryland . The ideal candidate will come with 5–10 years of experience . This is a freelance, fully remote opportunity requiring 10–20 hours per week.

The Video Editor will primarily focus on editing short videos (typically 5 minutes or less) using Premiere. The role involves handling footage in various formats, including iPhone/self-shot, standard equipment, and on-location/in-the-field recordings. The main task is performing initial string outs and basic editing.

What You’ll Do:

• Edit short videos (5 minutes or less) in Premiere.
• Work with footage from diverse sources (self-shot, professional equipment, etc.).
• Ensure timely delivery of video edits and meet deadlines.

What You’ll Need:

• 5–10 years of video editing experience.
• Strong proficiency in Premiere.
• storytelling instincts
