Seasons Law, P.C., an award-winning law firm in Northern California, is seeking an attorney with experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration law.

You will: 

• Draft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• Research and prepare legal memoranda and opinions, strategy recommendations, mediation briefs, and settlement agreements 
• Draw up probate/conservatorship petitions and make court appearances
• Analyze California case law, legislation, and local court rules 
• Answer estate and trust questions, including reviewing the will/trust and analyzing it in light of each unique client circumstance (e.g. family dynamics, financial situations, etc.)
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files (digital and hard-copy)
• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely client service 
• Seek opportunities to improve your skills and expertise

Requirements:

• 1-3 years legal experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Excellent legal advocacy, research, and writing skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Commitment to professionalism
• Flexibility with the types of matters assigned

Desired skills/experience:

• 3-5 years legal experience in estate planning, probate and trust administration matters
• Tax experience a plus
