Job Details

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Requires an associate's degree and certification as a registered nurse.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within rehabilitation nursing.

Job Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience required
• BLS required
• ACLS & PALS preferred

Schedule Information

• Nights, 6:30p-7a
• Call & floating required

Unit Specific Information

• Rehab unit with 10 beds
• Patient ratio 1:5

• FINGERPRINTS FOR ALL NM TRAVELERS ARE REQUIRED
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Number of beds in unit: 10 beds
• Blocked Scheduling may be accommodated, must include in body of submittal
• 48-hr. Guarantees are NOT approved
• Scrub Color: Any Color
• EMR: MedHost
