A Travel Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services, drug distribution, teaching, administrative duties, and research under the supervision of the Director. This role requires hospital experience, PharmD degree, VT State Pharmacist License, and BLS certification. Under the supervision of the Director, the Staff Pharmacist is responsible for assuring the drug therapy needs of the patient are met.
There are five major areas of responsibility for the staff/clinical pharmacist. clinical pharmacy, drug distribution, teaching, administrative duties and conducting research.
Familiar with unit dose, IV admixtures, computer skills, technical and clinical pharmacy practice.
Must also have hospital experience, not just retail.
