Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

CT Technologist - CT Tech

\n\n

Job Details:

\n

• Must have CT experience and provide 2 fingerprint cards upon acceptance
\n• Provide radiographic CT examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation
\n• Exercise professional judgment in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection
\n• Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas
\n• Maintain patient records and files and assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program
\n• Transfer patients to and from radiology and rotate shifts as required
\n• Must be able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes
\n• Must be willing to learn other imaging modalities and perform duties in two fields of imaging
\n• Work with patients of all age groups from newborns to geriatric adults (70+ years)
\n• Assist with invasive procedures and maintain knowledge of these procedures
\n• Set up and run automatic injector and be familiar with contraindications of contrast
\n• Must be competent in tele-radiology transmission and sterile technique
\n• Actively assist in supply inventory and ordering with daily/weekly QC responsibilities
\n• Current ARRT in Radiography or ARDMS in one category (Abd or OB/GYN) required
\n• BLS certification required within 45 days of start
\n• Clinical competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
\n• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address
