\nOne year of experience in a clinical laboratory, or completion of an internship at a qualified institution.\n\n
\n Education:
\nBachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology from a program registered by the New York State Department of Education, or a Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or physical sciences from an accredited college or university.\n\n
\n License:
\nNew York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technologist.\n\n \n\n Certifications:
\nCertification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is preferred.
