Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Virginia requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least two years of recent L&D experience.
Responsibilities
- Position is located in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Patient care focused on women in labor and delivery
- Must not live within 60 miles of the assignment location
- Primary responsibilities include providing care to laboring patients and assisting with deliveries
- Must complete a skills checklist prior to assignment
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Non-local candidates only (must reside more than 60 miles from the facility)
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must provide Social Security number and date of birth for consideration
- COVID vaccination documentation required
- Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the past 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
- RQI certifications not accepted
