Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with home health experience for a post-acute assignment covering home care, hospice, and skilled nursing settings.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in home care, hospice, and skilled nursing facility settings
• Patient caseload is typically 5 cases per day within a 40-mile driving radius
• Responsibilities include covering both Home Health and SNF locations
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• EMR used is Remote Client
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Position involves supervising physical therapist assistants as needed
• No onsite therapy supervisor; candidates must function independently
• Mileage is reimbursed at the current government rate and drive time is billable
• Local pay rates apply for candidates living within 80 miles
• First-time travelers will be considered if home health clinicals were completed

\n \n Requirements\n

• Current PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience with at least some home health experience
• Current BLS certification required
• New graduates may be considered if home health clinical experience is documented
• Must be comfortable working without onsite supervision
• Must be able to supervise PTAs as part of the role
• Valid driver's license required and ability to travel within a 40-mile radius
