\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in Cardiac Telemetry Unit on the 3rd floor of the main hospital
\n• 25-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratio
\n• Every 3rd weekend schedule required
\n• Friday and Saturday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM plus an additional Friday or Saturday (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) each schedule
\n• Must work Halloween, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas night
\n• Low probability of floating to Medical Surgical units
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Navy scrub color required for dress code
\n• Work with equipment including EKG machines, Hoyer lifts, and LifePak devices
\n• Use Meditech EMR system
\n• Must have telemetry experience and ability to read EKGs
\n• Must handle fast-paced environment with multiple admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures
\n• Perform typical procedures including peritoneal dialysis and EKGs
\n• Set priorities and modify patient care based on changing conditions
\n• Make appropriate and timely physician notifications for patient condition changes
\n• Must be a team player with positive attitude
