Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Training Specialist to join their team. As a Training Specialist, you will be part of the Training & Development department supporting plant operations and workforce development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Training Specialist - Training Development Coordinator

Location: Ocala, FL

Shift: Candidate needs to have complete availability as the site operates 24/7 and they need to be available to trained employees on different shifts as needed.

What's the Job?

• Drive the implementation of training plans in partnership with plant leadership based on development needs.
• Support new hire orientation and assist with training employees in TPM methodology and certification processes.
• Support cross-training activities, maintain training records, and validate training documentation.
• Develop and update standardized work procedures and training materials using SharePoint, Teams, and other document control tools.
• Track training hours, manage the training center, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a Training and Development role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of TPM methodology.
• Ability to facilitate training in various formats and maintain training records accurately.
