Job Description Job Description LHH is assisting a client in south Charlotte with their immediate need for a Senior Accountant on a temporary basis - 6-8 months in duration. This position offers flexibility with hours as well as a hybrid schedule. This client is open to 30-40 hours per week. Please read on for more details! Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Monitor and reconcile inventory balances, cost accounting entries, and manufacturing variances. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities specific to the manufacturing sector. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA preferred. 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments. Proficient with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Thorough understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
