Steel Stud Framers – Lake Mills, WI
On-Site Staffing Services

On-Site Staffing Services is seeking Steel Stud Framers to join our client’s team in Lake Mills, WI . This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on construction work.

Pay Rate: $19+/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift (Typically 8 hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed)

Job Description

Perform steel stud framing for residential and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Install framing components, including tracks, studs, and sheathing, to specified standards.
• Follow interior and exterior framing instructions and layout from the foreman.
• Ask questions to clarify the scope of work and report discrepancies immediately.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ensure framing components are square, plumb, and meet quality standards.
• Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines (Suburban, OSHA, and general contractor standards).
• Maintain company tools and report any maintenance needs.
• Communicate equipment or material needs to the foreman.
• Complete all framing work thoroughly, both interior and exterior.

Experience / Skills / Training

• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.
• English proficiency is a plus; Spanish speakers welcome (translator available).
• Steel stud framing experience required.
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and methods used in drywall or insulation work.
• Gas and powder-actuated tool certified.
• Basic power tool knowledge.
• Aerial lift/scissor lift certified.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
• Courteous, reliable, and professional demeanor.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions typical of construction sites.
