Location North Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
Compensation & Schedule
• $25/hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• W2, Temporary Assignment
• Target start: October 2025
ROLE IMPACT
This role ensures continuity of accounting operations during a scheduled maternity leave. The temporary Staff Accountant will support financial processing and reporting with a focus on accuracy and adaptability, especially in accounts payable workflows. Successful candidates will demonstrate agility in learning new systems and maintaining daily accounting functions with minimal disruption.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process and record cash receipts from lockbox into QuickBooks Online
• Manage day-to-day AP entries and vendor transactions
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close as needed
• Import data from Caselink into QuickBooks and ensure transaction accuracy
• Coordinate with permanent Staff Accountant for a smooth knowledge transfer
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop
• Strong understanding of accounts payable workflows
• Availability to work onsite 100% of the time during the assignment

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Prior experience handling accounting transitions or temp coverage
• Familiarity with lockbox deposit processing
• Strong communication and time management skills
