Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position Pay Estimated: $62.36-$67.36/Hour This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.) Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space / Defense company. As part of the Space and Intelligence Systems line of business, you will be a member of a cross functional team responsible for maintaining survivability and reliability of mission critical resources, monitoring high priority systems and automating recovery mechanisms to ensure they remain operational for the warfighter. Responsibilities: * Ensure system uptime demonstrated by diagnosing and triaging complex system wide incidents * Collaborate with teams with diverse engineering skills * Apply knowledge of technology trends and champion new ideas and process improvements * Monitor large scale systems using automation to triage emerging issues * Apply previous experience in software engineering, systems administration, and network engineering Qualifications: * U.S. citizen with ability to obtain Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of experience * Ensuring Uptime of Critical Systems (Incident Response / Triage) * Automating Systems Administration Activities (Bash / Python / Ansible are preferred) * Monitoring, and Troubleshooting Enterprise Services (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) * Configuring Enterprise Services (Ansible, YAML, JSON) * Developing recovery procedures for large systems (Backup and Restore, Blue/Green Deployment) Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
