Site Reliability Engineer (Job Code: SRE) Location: Leander, TX, with possible relocation to various locations within the U.S. Position Overview: The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will play a key role in ensuring the high availability, reliability, scalability, and performance of applications within the organization. The SRE will work closely with development teams to automate and improve processes, as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and services. Implement proactive measures to reduce downtime and improve system performance. Develop automation for system monitoring, application deployment, and incident response. Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and implement scalable, reliable applications. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Participate in incident management and root cause analysis processes. Continuously improve system architecture and operational procedures. Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role. Expertise in system administration, networking, and application performance management. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk. Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, etc.). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
