WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are actively seeking a Senior UX Designer to drive technology transformation and shape the future of an origination platform for one of our clients and across the industry. Specifically, we’re looking for a strategic design leader who can elevate user experience, mentor talent, and influence product direction across the organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to our Resource Manager, as a Senior UX Designer, you will work in a hybrid capacity to lead the design of critical features and initiatives, delivering high-quality, user centered solutions. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables, facilitate design workshops and discussions to drive innovation and alignment, and take ownership of the entire design process from discovery through delivery with minimal oversight. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, foster a culture of collaboration and design excellence, and influence product strategy and decision-making across multiple teams and leadership levels.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years in product design or user experience.
  • 5+ years leading design projects or managing teams.
  • 3+ years partnering with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, high-quality product solutions.
  • High proficiency with Figma, Miro, Usertesting.com, Dovetail, and other design/research platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment.
  • Experience in product-led, digital transformation environments preferred.
  • Financial services/consumer lending experience a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead creative problem-solving and elevate design thinking across the organization.
  • Gather and synthesize insights from research, competitive analysis, and data.
  • Champion design excellence and advocate for the business value of UX.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Marketing.
  • Drive operational excellence by streamlining workflows and improving quality.
  • Mentor and develop design talent, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
  • Track design health, business impact, and team performance using metrics.
