Were looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Game Economy Designer to take the lead on designing and optimizing the in-game economy across both Web2 and Web3 layers. Youll be responsible for the structure and balance of economic systems, directly influencing progression, monetization, and long-term player engagement.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

• Youll drive the design and balance of the games economy, including virtual currencies, pricing, rewards, and progression loops.
• Youll design and manage token supply, sinks, and utility to ensure long-term sustainability and prevent economic instability.
• Youll model macroeconomic scenarios, anticipating how exchange trading and liquidity events affect in-game behaviors and token valuation.
• Youll collaborate with finance, marketing, and legal teams to align tokenomics with regulatory and market requirements.
• Youll develop strategies for healthy player-token interactions, preventing hyperinflation, deflation, or exploitative loops.
• Youll develop simulations and predictive models to actively anticipate the impact of content changes.
• Youll observe individual and overall player balances to maintain the stability of the games economy.
• Youll craft and refine gameplay loops and determine how players engage with them.
• Youll enhance content performance through the creation and analysis of A/B tests.
• Youll pinpoint and proactively adjust both the in-game and token economies to maximize player engagement, retention, monetization, and overall token market health, directly shaping the strategic direction of the games ecosystem.

What you'll bring to the team:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in crafting free-to-play game economies and monetization models.
• A minimum of 1 year of Web3 experience and a deep understanding of the Web3 ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of both player-driven closed economies and open, market-influenced token ecosystems.
• Proficiency in economic modeling and forecasting using tools like Excel, SQL, Python/R, or simulation frameworks, with the ability to validate hypotheses through data-driven insights.
• Proven experience in economic modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Deep understanding of game mechanics, complemented by a passion for gaming.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex economic challenges.
• Superior teamwork skills for effective collaboration within diverse teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to align product, design, marketing, and finance teams around economic decisions and clearly explain complex systems to both technical and non-technical audiences.
