Job Description Job Description Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting functions for a growing property management and development company based in West Hollywood. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers the chance to be his right-hand as the team expands. Responsibilities: Assist with the monthly accounting close process for multiple entities, including preparing and reviewing workpapers Oversee and review property financial information. Monthly comparison of income and expenses to budget with review of variance analysis and account reconciliations Analysis of financial data and support with ad hoc projects Monthly financial statement reporting to management, lenders, and investors Loan processing or lender reporting experience Coordinate and prepare work papers provided to the tax preparer and auditors Assist with automating and streamlining processes Workflow or revenue process implementation Experience compiling draw packages CAM reconciliation and management Assist with distributions Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Related Field preferred 5 years' experience in real estate Private Equity/Public Accounting experience a plus Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills Team leadership or supervisory experience Yardi administration and training experience Intermediate to advanced with MS Office.
