Are you a dedicated and skilled Labor & Delivery Nurse (L&D RN) looking for an exciting opportunity to support mothers and babies during life's most precious moments? \n\nResponsibilities:\n

As a Labor & Delivery Nurse at Beebe Healthcare, you will:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital policies .
• Facilitate, implement, and evaluate individualized Patient Plans of Care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and technical skills to effectively prioritize and manage patient care.
• Accurately document patient assessments at admission, transfer, and discharge, ensuring compliance with hospital standards.
• Assess and protect patient safety , following all hospital policies and procedures.
• Evaluate and report critical test results promptly and efficiently.
• Address the educational needs of patients, providing and documenting teaching as needed.
• Ensure proper transcription of orders and execute them with attention to detail.
• Collect and correctly label blood and urine specimens , ensuring timely delivery to the lab.
• Maintain open communication with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth, coordinated patient care experience.

\n\nQualifications:\n

• One year of acute care experience as an RN preferred.  Prior L&D experience highly preferred
• Must complete Point of Care Testing training, Neonatal rescusitation program (NRP) and Fetal monitoring as part of Department Orientation. 
• Baby friendly education within 6 months of hire.
• STABLE certificate preferred.

* Experience In Hospital Or Acute Care Setting
* Clear Communication Skills Both Written And Verbal
* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
* Able To Withstand Crisis Situations
* Has Skills To Provides Customer Service To Patients, Team Members And Visitors
* Knowledge And Experience With Electronic Health Records

\n\nCredentials:\n

Essential:
* RN - Registered Nurse
* BLS - Basic Life Saving certification
Nonessential:
* BABY Certification-15 Hrs Online, 5 Hrs Observation
* S.T.A.B.L.E. - Post-Resuscitation/pre-transport stabilizatio
* NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program/ Certificate - ESS

Essential:
* RN Diploma/RN Graduate Program

\n\nEntry:\nUSD $36.20/Hr.\n\nMax:\nUSD $59.73/Hr.
