Job Description: We are looking for a R&D Data Scientist Intern to join our team. You will help support the rapid growth of the Spark and Digital Orthodontic business unit of Envista. The R&D Data Scientist Intern will partner with fellow Engineers and Production teams to execute on project objectives and team goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Support various data analytics projects.
- Create and maintain server scripts to extract and compile data.
- Provide data visualization and presentation for stakeholders on a regular basis.
Job Requirements: - Currently pursuing a degree in relevant fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or Business Analytics.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), Python (scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas), AWS services (Athena, SageMaker) and Microsoft Excel.
- A portfolio of project experieces in data analytics preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
- Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
