VC-Backed Startup Ruck Web & Mobile High Ownership

Required:

1. Must already have authorization to work in the United States (no H1-B sponsorships)
2. Must work in office 4 days a week regularly.
3. 3+ years of Figma experience

Ruck is a delivery-enabled marketplace for construction materialsthink DoorDash for lumber, panels, logs, hardware, and light building materials . Buyers purchase through our platform, and our gig fleet of trucks and trailers hauls everything straight to the job site. Were solving one of constructions biggest pain points: getting materials where they need to go, fast, reliably, and with full transparency.

Were looking for a Product Designer who blends strong UI/UX skills with hands-on customer discovery and research. Youll design the full experience across web and mobile and own the legwork behind itinterviews, data gathering, workflow mapping, and analyzing how real customers buy, track, and receive materials through Ruck.

• Own UI/UX for Ruck web + mobile products.
• Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and live usability tests.
• Turn raw feedback and field insights into user flows and product decisions.
• Build wireframes, prototypes, and polished designs in Figma.
• Collaborate daily with founders + engineering to ship quickly.
• Maintain our design system and evolve it as features scale.
• Move fast, test ideas, iterate, and keep the user at the center.

• 3+ years in UI/UX, Product Design, or similar.
• Strong Figma abilities (components, systems, prototyping).
• Comfortable talking directly to customers and running research yourself.
• Scrappy, resourceful, DIY attitudetrue early-stage energy.
• Portfolio showing both web + mobile work.

• Early-stage startup experience.
• Knowledge and background in emerging MCP server technology.
• Background in user research or product strategy.
• Experience designing marketplace, logistics, or operations-heavy products.
• Curiosity about AI-powered workflows.

• VC-backed momentum with huge market demand.
• Massive ownership and autonomy.
