Position Overview

Apex Practice Managers are responsible for the day-to-day office operations in multiple locations in regard to inventory controls, patient care interactions, supervising office staff, and delegating tasks.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience in a health care facility
• Must have clinical experience
• Proven experience working in a managerial position in the clinical or medical setting and a strong understanding of healthcare administration and management
• Familiarity with administrative software for healthcare systems; ECW experience preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of the revenue cycle and insurance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service with a client focus and strong focus on patient and employee experience
• Associate degree preferred
• Understanding and familiarity with Human Resource practices and exceptional work ethic

Essential Functions

• P&L accountability with an emphasis on revenue growth and bottom-line performance through expense management and AR controls.
• Representing Apex in the community, nurturing referral sources, and participating in marketing and advertising efforts to support office and enterprise growth.
• Verification of End of Day processes and office balancing.
• Monitor patient charts daily for each Provider to ensure MIPS is being documented correctly.
