Job Description
This is more than a job.
It’s an opportunity to spend your afternoons helping children explore, learn and grow through music. You’ll witness those quiet little breakthroughs—a new note discovered, a tricky rhythm finally mastered, a proud smile after a finished song—and you’ll know YOU helped make it happen.
This position is a strong match if you:
What Move Over Mozart truly cares about
Celebrating every student’s success
Every child deserves to feel proud of their progress, not just a few who stand out. Success here means reaching meaningful milestones that come from genuine effort and growth. Recognizing those moments with joy inspires students to keep moving forward, building confidence and a love for music that lasts.
Inspiring motivation through play and purpose
Fun and quality are not opposites. In fact, they belong together. A well-designed curriculum, paired with playful activities and engaging games, creates a learning environment where students stay motivated and excited to return. Every class blends joy with structure, helping children move forward with real musical growth while loving every moment.
Teachers as the heart of the program
The connection between teacher and student is everything. When a child feels seen, supported, and encouraged, they thrive. Teachers bring their creativity, warmth, and musicality into every class, shaping lessons that students look forward to. With thoughtful training and continued support, teachers are empowered to build real rapport and make each moment meaningful.
What you can expect . . .
After three months , you’ll discover a growing confidence that feels both natural and deeply rewarding. Teaching will no longer feel like a challenge but a joyful flow where you intuitively know how to reach each child. You’ll build genuine connections that make lessons come alive, and you’ll witness the sparkle in their eyes when they realize they can play. Knowing which moments inspire curiosity and focus will fill you with a quiet pride and renewed passion for teaching.
After your first recital you will feel a deep and well-earned sense of accomplishment. Watching your students play with excitement and confidence will fill you with joy and pride. Knowing that your guidance helped them grow and overcome hesitation will remind you why teaching music matters. Parents will share their gratitude and you will see the powerful difference you are making in young lives.
After a year you will feel a deep sense of confidence and ease in your teaching. Planning lessons will become second nature as you master activities that both engage your students and build essential piano skills. Watching your students’ progress will fill you with pride and gratitude, knowing you helped unlock their potential. You will be embraced by a community of teachers who understand your dedication and share in celebrating every meaningful moment. This journey will deepen your love for teaching and remind you why you chose this path.
