Seeking a Software Engineer – Legacy Modernization & Full-Stack Delivery.

We’re a lean, collaborative engineering team building enterprise software for a rock-solid sector. This newly created role is for a sharp, hands-on engineer (or technical leader) ready to modernize legacy systems and deliver clean, scalable code across the stack.

What You’ll Tackle

• Ongoing PHP/LAMP coding/applications development.
• Ship new features, squash bugs, and support global product releases
• Collaborate across DevOps, QA, and sustaining engineering to drive delivery
• Work directly with external clients to customize code and resolve escalated issues
• Stay hands-on with architecture, implementation, and release coordination

What You Bring

• Strong PHP/LAMP experience + modern stack chops (Node.js, AWS, JavaScript)
• A Passion for writing code; Proactive with a strong sense of urgency
• Comfort with Linux and AWS tools (Linux Admin or AWS Services experience is a plus).
• Proven ability to translate user needs into clean, maintainable code

Pluses:

• experience with payments, transaction processing, encryption, PCI-DSS, and/or multi-version software delivery; Experience working for an Enterprise Software firm is also a plus.
• experience Refactoring PHP into modern Node.js/JavaScript/AWS frameworks
• experience working for a Software or SaaS type product company.
