Hours: 9 - 1 ( Approximately Half Time - days and hours TBD )

Compensation: $35 to $65 per Hour

A Yorktown, NY client is looking for an experienced Personal/Lifestyle Assistant to provide personal, administrative, and household support during a period of transition. Duties include scheduling, errands, research, document management, social media oversight, and coordination of household needs, including pet care. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, discreet, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable handling sensitive content while maintaining professionalism. There are 2 parrots, 2 cats, and 1 turtle in the home.

Main Work Duties:

• Provide day-to-day lifestyle assistance, including scheduling, organizing, and personal errands.
• Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of topics to support decision-making and lifestyle improvements.
• Manage and update the client’s online presence and social media accounts, ensuring a professional and consistent representation.
• Assist with administrative needs such as correspondence, document organization, and task prioritization, interface with service personnel.
• Offer household support, including coordination around pets (parrots) and creating systems to streamline daily routines.
• Provide emotional and practical support through a period of significant personal transition (post-divorce).
• Work comfortably with subject matter related to the client’s professional focus.
• Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.

The Perfect Candidate: 

Flexibility and openness will be essential, as the client’s needs and objectives are likely to evolve over time. The client has a visual-spatial learning and developmental disability, which can sometimes create challenges with organization, planning, and feelings of overwhelm. At least initially, the client's coach will provide some additional support and input.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ solid years of personal/lifestyle experience working in a private home.
• Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Valid Driver's license and clean driving record.
