Salary: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00

HireUp Talent is partnering with a private household in Tampa to hire a dedicated and upbeat Personal Assistant/Driver to support a young adult living independently. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, service-oriented environment .

The role includes transportation, basic household support, mentorship, and planning activities centered around the individuals interests in volunteering, animals, and fitness . Youll be an encouraging presence and a dependable resource to help ensure their personal goals and daily needs are met with care and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the individual to and from appointments, errands, volunteer activities, and social outings
• Provide flexible support during the day, evenings, and occasional weekends
• Offer guidance and encouragement through day-to-day situations (mentorship/life coaching approach)
• Assist with household tasks as needed: light meal prep, tidying, vendor coordination
• Help organize schedules and ensure timely attendance to commitments
• Occasionally accompany individual on out-of-town travel

Preferred Background

• Experience as a Personal Assistant, Teacher, Counselor, Life Coach , or similar role
• Background working with neurodiverse individuals or those on the autism spectrum is a plus
• Must enjoy and be comfortable around dogs and animal-related environments

Requirements

• 1+ year experience in a personal assistant or related role (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Lives within reasonable commuting distance of Tampa/Carrollwood
• Flexible and able to accommodate last-minute changes or requests
• Comfortable transporting and working with a therapy dog
