Job Description

This Pediatric Registered Dietitian II position is based at our Needham location and involves providing comprehensive outpatient nutritional care. The role includes individualized nutrition assessment and education, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and development of care plans tailored to these complex patient populations. It also includes clinical nutrition support in assigned patient units and/or outpatient clinics.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide basic nutritional care to patients on assigned units and outpatient clinics.

  • Evaluate medical, biochemical, and nutritional information to assess patient needs.

  • Develop and implement appropriate nutrition care plans.

  • Assist in the supervision of the daily work of the dietetic technician.

Minimum Qualifications


Education:


  • Bachelor’s degree in nutrition.


Experience:


  • Three (3) or more years of progressive experience in dietetics, including at least two (2) years in pediatric nutrition.


Licensure/Certifications:


  • Registered Dietitian, credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

  • Licensed Dietitian by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
