Part-Time HR Generalist

• Contract (6+ months)
• Part-Time (15-20 hours per week, Mon-Fri)
• Tigard, OR
• Hybrid (1 day per week on-site, 4 days remote)

What you should know: Mulberry has partnered with a local small business to hire a Part-Time HR Generalist to support the owner. It is a great opportunity to work with a variety of organizations. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, process oriented, and dependable.

A day in the life:

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in recruiting efforts, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities for new hires.
• Benefits Administration: Coordinate and communicate employee benefits, answer questions related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, and assist in open enrollment processes.
• Payroll Support: Work with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee pay, address payroll-related inquiries, and ensure compliance with relevant payroll regulations.
• Training & Development: Help coordinate employee training programs, identify professional development opportunities, and maintain training records.
• Data Management: Maintain employee records accurately in HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring confidentiality and security of data.
• Special Projects: Assist with HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion efforts, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

• 2-3+ years in human resources
• Personable, detail oriented, highly communicative
• Experience in an ATS/HRIS; ADP is preferred

Compensation and Benefits : $30-$35/HR with benefits through Mulberry’s record of talent partner.
