Within applicable safe-harbor guidelines, outpatient surgical cases flow seamlessly from clinic to ASC, providing both continuity of care and professional efficiency. *The Opportunity: *We're seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a focus in general orthopedics, sports medicine, or spine to join our San Jose team. This role is ideal for a surgeon who wants: * * * *Immediate patient volume within a proven, integrated referral ecosystem. * * A collaborative environment alongside pain specialists, PTs, and rehabilitation experts. * * * *Clinical autonomy without administrative burden—our team manages eligibility, authorizations, scheduling, and billing. * * The flexibility to design a 2-3 day schedule that fits work-life balance goals. *Compensation & Structure (Bay Area Competitive)* Option A — W-2 Employee (Part-Time) * * * *Base + Performance Incentive: Fixed base salary with additional incentive tied to defined productivity metrics (RVU-based or equivalent). * * Malpractice Coverage: Claims-made policy with tail provided by Allied. * Benefits: Eligibility begins at 30 hours/week; this position is below that threshold but may qualify as Allied expands part-time benefits. * * Administrative Support: Full operational infrastructure provided. * * * *Estimated Total Earnings: $340K - $450K+ annually, depending on schedule, case mix, and performance.* *Earnings range includes base and incentive potential; actual totals vary with procedural mix and patient volume.* Option B — 1099 Independent Contractor * Clinic Work: Competitive day or session-based rates for in-office evaluations and procedures. * * * *Surgical Work: Separate compensation for surgical blocks at Trinity Surgery Center or incentive aligned with documented productivity metrics. * * Flexibility: Surgeons may blend clinic-day and surgical-day structures for balanced, transparent earnings. * * * *Administrative Support: Scheduling, authorizations, and billing managed by Allied's RCM team. * * Estimated Total Earnings: $350K - $475K+ annually, depending on volume and procedural intensity.
