Job DescriptionKey Duties & ResponsibilitiesPlan, prepare, and cook three daily meals plus snacks for crew members.Supervise and direct Cook 2, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.Ensure meals are properly portioned, presented, and served on time.Maintain kitchen and galley cleanliness; follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.Manage food inventory, monitor supplies, and assist with ordering.Enforce company safety and compliance requirements in all food service operations.RequirementsVerifiable cooking experience (offshore or large-scale kitchen preferred).High school diploma or GED equivalent.Valid State ID or Drivers License.Social Security Card.Current TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).Ability to commit to a 14/7 offshore rotation schedule.Desired SkillsStrong leadership and supervisory ability.Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills.Knowledge of food safety standards and large-scale food preparation.Flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced offshore environment.Preferred Certifications (Not Required)Safe Gulf / Rig Pass / Safe LandTHUET Water Survival / HUET (Training support available if certifications are not current.)Cook 1 CompensationCompetitive weekly pay: $3,286 per week (Based on a 14/7 offshore rotation, 12-hour shifts with overtime)
