Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)
Location: New York, NY 02109
Pay rate: $53.33 per hour on W2 Job Description: RFP Writer with a global perspective to join our Business Development Services (BDS) team. BDS supports investment teams, consultant relations, and institutional and intermediary new business acquisition efforts. Proposal Strategists are responsible for the project management and completion of RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs. This involves collaborating with investment teams, sales, and various stakeholders to manage execution, create compelling value propositions, write new content, and tailor existing responses for specific prospects.
RFP Writers are also responsible for maintaining the stock language in our content management system (Loopio). This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience or knowledge of the investment management industry. Prior experience with RFP writing and strong industry knowledge are highly desired.
Key Responsibilities: - Complete RFPs, RFIs, and DDQs utilizing industry best practices
- Specialize in one or more asset classes/strategies
- Maintain and regularly update the strategy section of the RFP database (Loopio)
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and content quality
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of RFP writing experience within the asset management industry
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on overall messaging
- Ability to write with a client-focused perspective
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while delivering high-quality work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor's degree
