We are seeking a passionate and dedicated *Middle School Spanish Teacher* to join our team on a part-time basis (0.4 FTE). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Spanish language instruction and a heart for integrating Christian values into their teaching. This teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging, standards-aligned Spanish lessons to middle school students in a manner consistent with Christian values and a biblical worldview.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach middle school-level Spanish, incorporating biblical principles into the curriculum and classroom environment.
* Create lesson plans that support language development and cultural understanding in line with school standards and student needs.
* Assess student progress through varied assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
* Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as appropriate.
* Foster a safe, respectful, and spiritually nurturing classroom environment.
Qualifications:
* A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and agreement with the school's statement of faith.
* Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field (required); advanced degree preferred.
* Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish language required; fluency preferred.
* Valid teaching certification (or willingness to pursue certification, if applicable).
* Prior experience teaching Spanish at the middle school level preferred.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Commitment to Christian education and the integration of faith and learning.
Employment Details:
* Part-time position: 0.4 FTE.
* Salary commensurate with experience and education level.
