Current certification as a MA with current BLS/or ACLS certification, graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 year degree in medical assisting.  Would like 1 year of clinical experience, but would be willing to train.  EHR proficient: preferably with MEDENT  Skills Required: Phlebotomy EKG PFT Continuous glucose monitor Procedural skills Immunizations/ Recording in MCIR children and adults Autoclave Point of service test/ HGBA1C/ PT INR Must have strong people skills with good communication skills and be able to multitask. Must be able to work with others in office and be a team player with communication skills. Willingness to learn.  Experienced with front and back office skills and procedures, scheduling patients, checking in/out, rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting medical history.
